Customized Light Weight Carbon Fiber Tubes

Xinbo Composite specializes in different modulus carbon fiber tubes according to application，with surface of natural , polished matte , painted glossy , etc.  Customized carbon fiber tubes can be UD or 3K weave , max length of carbon fiber tube is 6M . OD tolerance of carbon fiber tubes can be +/-0.05mm ~ +/-0.1mm . 

Fiber Lay-Up 

We can design carbon fiber tube lay-up orientation according to per client's requirement . 

Fiber lay-up can be as following : 

0° Fibers maximize bending stiffness.

90° Fibers maximize crushing stiffness and generally assist in overall tube strength.

45° Fibers maximize torsional stiffness.

Manufacture Process

Roll wrapped carbon fiber tubes are manufactured using multiple layers of carbon fiber prepreg materials. 

• 1. Wrapped onto a mandrel in multiple layers and angles

• 2. Externally pressurized with transparant PP tape

• 3. Heat cured to solidify

• 4. After curing, the solid composite is demoulded from the mandrel as a tube

Application of Carbon Fiber Tubes

Delivery inspection 

Before production dispatch , we measure each carbon fiber tube with calliper to make sure size is within order tolerance . 

Delivery time

For carbon fiber tube sample , we can arrange shipment in 7 days ;

For mass production of regular sizes , delivery time is around 20-25 days . 

Packaging & Shipment 

We wrap each carbon fiber tube with plastic bag/bubble bag . Each carton weighs less than 25kg .

For samples , we usually ship via DHL/UPS/Fedex ; For bulk order shipment , we suggest to choose air transportation or ocean shipment .
