Manufacture Process of tubes/tubing products

Roll-wrapping
Roll wrapping means to use prepreg fiber material which has already been impregnated with epoxy resin to finish the product. The prepreg material is cut into layers of different orientation , then roll these layers onto a mandrel . After that , use a plastic film to wrap the mandrel and prepreg to contain the epoxy resin and compress the layers during curing . Once curing is complete , remove the mandrel from the center of the finished tubes , in this way we call it roll wrapping process .

Filament winding
Similar to roll wrapping process , there is also a mandrel for production for filament winding process . Filament winding is a process in which a pre-programmed robot arm applies a bundle of epoxy resin-impregnated fibers onto a spinning mandrel .
After the desired layup thickness has been finished , the mandrel is placed into an oven to cure . After the curing process , remove the mandrel and leaving a filament winding hollow tube .

pultrusion
Pultrusion is a relatively low cost , but high effciency production process . Pultrusion is a process in which dry , continuous fibers are pulled through a bath of resin and then through a die . The die serves two purposes , first it forces the bundle of wet fibers to conform to the shape you want to creat . Second , since the die is heated , it will cure the resin to set the bundle of fibers into it's final shape , then you will get the final products from pultrusion process .

mould pressing
Carbon fiber mould pressing process belongs to a kind of hand lay-up process of low-pressure moulding . The carbon fiber prepreg was placed between the upper and lower mold , the mold was placed on hydraulic molding table . After a certain period of hight pressure to cure the resin , the carbon fiber products are removed . Mould pressing process has the advantages of high efficiency , good quality , high dimensional accuracy , less environmental impact and so on .

Carbon Fiber tubes
All our tubes are made starting from an inner calibrated core equivalent to the inner diameter, on that we place all the other layers of fiber to achieve the desired thickness of the composite tube. On the basis of the constituent materials and their disposal and fiber angle, we can provide different design to better meet all the needs of each application.
The tubes shown and indicated below are cylindrical, but they can also be available upon request conical, slightly oval,square, rectangular, hexagonal, with different thicknesses or with special carbon fiber additions. Surface Finishes of Carbon Tubes can be UD or 3K, with subsequent treatments we can also grind or paint the outer surface.
