Mold Pressing Process
 

The carbon fiber prepreg is placed between the upper and lower molds, and the mold is placed on the hydroforming table. After a certain period of high temperature and high pressure to solidify the resin, the carbon fiber product is removed. This molding technology has the advantages of high efficiency, good product quality, high dimensional accuracy, and less environmental impact, and is suitable for the molding of mass and high-strength composite parts.

 

The manufacture process also has its drawbacks :

the Max size of the parts is limited by the size of the pressing equipment.

Autoclave Process

The material blank formed by laying up a single layer of prepreg material in a predetermined direction is placed in an autoclave, and the curing process is completed under a certain temperature and pressure. An autoclave is a special pressure vessel that can withstand and regulate a certain temperature and pressure range. The blank is laid on the surface of the mold with a release agent, then covered with porous release cloth , absorbent felt, and the air felt in sequence, sealed in a vacuum bag, and then placed in an autoclave. Before heating and curing, vacuum the bag to remove air and volatiles, and then heat up, pressurize and cure according to the curing system of different resins. The formulation and implementation of the curing system are the keys to ensuring the quality of autoclaved parts.

Normally , we customize and part mold and product depending on customer's 3D drawing or original sample piece . We have the ability to analyze the drawing and suggest the suitable manufacture process for customers .  

07. Do you also manufacture motorcycle parts ?

Yes , we also manufacture carbon fiber motorcycle parts , mostly for Dukati , Yamaha and BMW . They are the same manufacture process with car parts .

08. What about the delivery time if I 'd like to order a new customized part ?

After order confirmed , we will start mold production which needs around 2-4 weeks depending on the mold material . After that , we will manufacture the first part and then check if it is the same as drawing . If sample is requested with coating , then we need 1 more week for coating .  

09. Can you make holes or assembly of the carbon fiber car parts ?

Yes , if there is hole design on the drawing , we will reserve marks on the mold and do CNC machining after production . We can also glue or add rivets to fix the parts together .

10. What is the best material choice for car parts  ?

To get the best rigidity and strength , we suggest to choose 100% carbon fiber material for car parts production , thickness can be designed from 1mm to 2mm  . 

11. What is the package way of car parts order and how to ship ?

We wrap each carbon fiber car parts with bubble bag , and put them into cartons. Outside the carton , we add protive corner on carton  .  For less quantity parts , we ship via UPS or Fedex Express ; For bulk order , we suggest to ship by boat .
