Compared with 106,900 tons in 2020, the global demand data in 2021 is 118,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%. We have three references to obtain this data. First, the law of international demand over the years is roughly a normal growth of 10%. ; The second reference is to understand the development of various application industries, such as the downturn in commercial aviation, Boeing and Airbus’s deliveries in 2021 (especially composite aircraft) are still not picking up, and sports companies are booming.
In addition to these two references that have been used for many years, this year, we have added a new method, which is to judge according to the Chinese application market. First, our data on the Chinese market demand is accurate (not just credible), and secondly, the Chinese market already occupies a pivotal position in the world (accounting for 52.9% of the global market). Furthermore, we have a clearer understanding of the global status of the Chinese application market. Through this method, we estimate the number of applications and then aggregate them into global annual demand. For example, carbon-carbon composite materials for sports and photovoltaics are China's unique advantages. By looking at China, you can basically see 80-95% of the global market situation. Another example is that pressure vessels are still dominated by European and American manufacturers. The development of pressure vessels is gratifying, and the international share is only a maximum of 30%.
In general, in 2021, wind power, sports equipment, carbon-carbon composite materials and pressure vessels will be the main forces for the continued growth of market demand.
