According to reports, the Paper Institute has started the pilot test of paper-based carbon fiber materials since 2018, and has made major research and development breakthroughs in key technologies such as carbon fiber dispersion technology, interweaving forming technology, and post-processing technology. In 2021, the R&D team broke through the bottleneck of carbon fiber ultra-low concentration mass production papermaking technology, solved the problem of twisting and entanglement of carbon fiber pumping, and formed scientific research results to be transformed. Through the in-depth cooperation and supply and demand recommendation of the "Science and Technology China" special paper-based materials professional technology service group organized by the China Papermaking Society and local science and technology associations, the Papermaking Institute went deep into enterprises to promote technology and sign contracts, and the product launch is just around the corner.


It is understood that at present, the global production capacity of high-performance paper-based carbon fiber materials is mainly concentrated in Japan, the United States and Germany. Due to the late start, the domestic hydrogen fuel cell paper-based carbon fiber material technology needs to be improved urgently. It is difficult for existing products to meet the technical requirements of low resistivity, high permeability, ultra-thin, and mechanical strength at the same time. The launch of this product will be of great significance for reducing the production cost of domestic hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, breaking foreign monopoly, and improving my country's market competitiveness in the field of high-tech material technology.
