From a technical perspective, Chinese carbon fiber companies are accelerating their efforts to catch up with the international leading level. Taking high-end products such as T1000, T1100, and M series as examples, these materials have gradually been localized and have begun to be used in large quantities in the aerospace field. However, compared with international giants, domestic companies still have room for improvement in production efficiency and product consistency.
Demand in application fields is about to explode
Carbon fiber has a wide range of applications, covering aerospace, wind power, photovoltaics, sports and leisure, automobile and rail transit and other industries. With policy support and technological progress, the demand for carbon fiber in these fields is being released rapidly.
In addition, in the field of lightweight automobiles, enterprises are making breakthroughs from covering parts to structural parts, and the application of carbon fiber in core parts such as chassis has entered the technical reserve stage. Low-altitude economy has become a new growth pole, and 90% of the bodies of medium and large unmanned aerial vehicles need to use carbon fiber materials. Technological breakthroughs in this field will open up a market space worth hundreds of billions of yuan.
